Are you our sales manager for the Norwegian or Swedish market?

At Woodsense, we are looking for a results-driven sales representative with excellent interpersonal skills to actively seek out and engage customer prospects in the (Swedish/Norwegian) construction industry. We are already established in Denmark, selling to some of the largest customers in the market. Now we’re looking for the right persons to build and develop a market for us in Norway/Sweden. 


As our sales representative for the (Norwegian/Swedish) market, you will be responsible for expanding and establishing contact with the largest stakeholders in the construction industry. 

The Danish team at Woodsense acts as back office and you can expect to be an integral part of our team as a whole. We will make sure you are well-prepared with all the technical knowledge you will need, and guide you with the practicalities of the position. 

In addition to being fluent in (Swedish/Norwegian), you should be comfortable communicating in English, as this is our go-to language for communication between us.

Your tasks will include

- Adapting and executing our sales strategy to the Norwegian/Swedish market.
- Develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Coordinate sales effort with the Danish sales team
- Selling directly to relevant construction projects.
- Resolve customer issues, in collaboration with the back office, by investigating problems, developing solutions and making recommendations to management
- Recommend changes in product, service and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
- Potentially establishing sales channels through re-distributors of our product.

In the long term we expect the tasks to progress into further market expansion and sales team management.

Who are you?

To be successful in this position, you have a flair for sales and an existing network in the construction industry.

It is an advantage if you are target driven with a proven track record in sales, as the position requires strategic knowledge on how to approach the local market.We primarily sell to strategic decision makers and partners, but you should preferably be able to work with sales on both construction sites as well as in executive corridors.

- Have a driver's license, as you can expect some transportation

Who are we?

At Woodsense, we are working towards eliminating resource waste in the construction industry and promoting the use of timber in construction. We do this through the use of our IoT sensors which monitor the health of timber structures and materials with the aim of preventing damage and reducing the need to replace materials. 

We currently have clients, projects and a growing network in both Denmark, Sweden and Norway. Now we need you to support our further growth in (Norway/Sweden).

The construction industry is responsible for approximately 40% of the world’s CO2 emissions, so if you want to influence the green transition, Woodsense might be the right place for you! 

As a sales representative at Woodsense, you become part of a small and ambitious team that believes work should be fun and flexible. While Woodsense is based in Copenhagen, we do not expect you to move. Preferably you are located in (Sweden/Norway), and we will do our part to make sure the Woodsense-spirit spreads to (Sweden/Norway).

Work hours and salary

The position of sales representative is a full time position. In terms of salary, we are flexible offering different salary solutions depending on your preferences, such as a standard package of salary plus commission or more agency with less security but a bigger reward as we grow on the market.
