Digitalization and sustainability in construction

Digitalization and sustainability in construction

At Woodsense, we work towards an increased focus on intelligent building operations as well as reducing the amount of resource waste in the construction industry. And although the world currently awaits what will happen, perhaps it is time to consider digitalization and sustainability in our future building solutions.

The COVID-crisis is hitting hard all around, and in the construction industry the consequences of rising interest rates and financial uncertainty with deferred projects as a result. At present, no one knows how the crisis will affect the construction industry going forward.

At Woodsense, we work towards an increased focus on using intelligent building operations as well as on reducing the amount of construction waste in the industry.

The wireless moisture sensor is the first solution that monitors the health of buildings to avoid mold growth and moisture damage in timber structures. The sensor is designed to detect moisture damage when it occurs - and not only after the damage has occurred! The sensor is easily installed in the exposed wooden area, and registered with the phone. You then access data via a dashboard and receive an alarm if a situation arises to which you need to respond.
